This is why Kingsport is known as “The Model City.” Kingsport is a place where metro and rural lifestyles flourish side-by-side. It is a model of the all-American town that so many find appealing. We are proud to say that Kingsport is a place where tradition and patriotism are held close to residents’ hearts and yet modern living and innovation are embraced.

What Residents Are Saying
“My husband and I have lived in Colonial Heights for more than 30 years. We arrived as newlyweds and raised two daughters and a small business here. It’s a great neighborhood for many reasons–friendly people, excellent schools, lots of parks and greenspace–but the ‘why’ behind our choice of Colonial Heights is access. We can get anywhere in the Tri-Cities in less than 30 minutes. We are close to everything. I’m proud to be a Kingsport resident, and I love where I live, in Colonial Heights.”
Jane Hillhouse, Colonial Heights Resident
“I lived at three addresses on Ft Robinson Drive over my life. It was a great place to grow up. Where we felt safe, knew everyone who lived around you, could hear the church bell ring throughout the neighborhood on Sunday morning. I went to school there, church there, had relatives all over the neighborhood.”
Jeff Morelock, Fort Robinson Resident
“Riverview is very peaceful. The neighbors there are friendly and I like that the playground and splash pad are right across the street.”
Sarah Moser, Riverview Resident
